This is a DVD of a 2009 talk given by Professor Albert Bandura, Stanford University, USA, organised by the Society's London and Home Counties Branch.
Professor Bandura's talk focused on the application of social cognitive theory to some of the most pressing world problems. Long-running TV shows that dramatise real-world issues such as AIDS, have been effective in changing behaviour appropriately.
